Our auras, which is one of our energetic fields, is always interacting with the energy fields of everyone and everything around us. As they bump into others, they’re intertwining and exchanging information. This can leave us walking away feeling either energized or energetically drained.
Most commonly, we feel drained. As we go about our days, accomplishing task after task and interacting with people and things, we’re using our energy. Wow, what an obvious statement that is. What’s not so obvious, however, is that remnants of our energy get left with those people and tasks as we walk away from them if we don’t consciously call them back.
When we interact with someone, we send our energy out to them. Especially if we’re interacting with them as they should be interacted with. We’re constantly fragmenting ourselves to fill the needs around us. Everything we do requires a piece of our energy. As we leave that task, conversation, or interaction behind, we have a little less energy to work with moving forward.
We wake up in the morning whole, having all of our energy intact, and as we give it, piece by piece, to tasks and others, we begin to feel drained. We can, however, consciously learn how to call all of our energy pieces back to us with very little effort, which will then restore our energy levels. Skeptical? Just give it a try and see how you feel before and after.
Calling back your energy
Calling all of your energy remnants back to you is a simple meditation practice (you can just as accurately describe it as being an energy work practice) that can be pulled out of your toolbox any time you find yourself feeling drained. It requires no complex mechanisms and is simply a matter of intending to do so.
The mind is a powerful tool, and within it, our imaginations, which are capable of creating our reality within and without ourselves. Everything in our lives begins and ends in the mind. The possibilities are limitless when we set our minds to it. We don’t give near the credit to our imaginations that they deserve.
Mechanics:
Take a moment to stop, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Sit or stand tall (as posture is important for energy flow), and relax your face and shoulders (and any other muscle tension you feel). Imagine your body becoming magnetized to any of your energy pieces that may have been left elsewhere. Call them back using your magnetically charged energy field and focus on feeling a “pull” as they return.
You can picture yourself with light glowing from you, or you can imagine pieces coming in and settling themselves in place. You’re putting yourself back together like a puzzle.
You’ll find many ways to do this if you search. It’s important to note, though, that they all work. The power resides within you and your mind, not the methods chosen in executing. Make it your own practice with all of the simplicity or complexity that you enjoy.
The best time to do this practice is anytime you’re feeling drained. At night, before bed, is a great time to stick it into your daily routine. It’s also a great remedy to the 2 o’clock crash that hits most of us. Pull it out multiple times a day if you need to!
